Welcome to C# from Scratch. Here you will find the most comprehensive guide to developing your C# skills. I have been perfecting this craft for the last 17 years, and I intend to share every piece of my knowledge with you.

The great news is that you don’t need to know a thing about algorithms, mathematics, or programming. You only need a working computer that has Visual Studio installed on it (just make sure to have the right version for your operating system, be it Mac, Linux, or Windows).

Now, I understand there are a lot of other resources out there that are teaching you the same thing. And you can certainly go check some of those out.

What you will find though, is that those resources don’t give you the knowledge to THINK like a programmer. Or to THINK like a software engineer. You can learn the ins and outs of the language absolutely, but without the proper mindset, that information will be nothing more than a bunch of facts for you to memorize.

And that’s not what you’re looking for.

If you can’t take a real-life problem, visualize it, and simulate it into a problem you can solve using programming language, then you’re not getting the most out of C#.
